NIPT - STANDARD
Ultrasound Scan & Blood Test

Available from 10 weeks of pregnancy – Standard
Our NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) Standard blood test collects and analyses cell-free fetal DNA from the maternal blood, enabling a more accurate screening for Down’s syndrome (Trisomy 21), Edwards’ Syndrome (Trisomy 18) and Patau’s Syndrome (Trisomy 13), and screens for sex chromosome anomalies: Turner's syndrome, Klinefelter’s' Syndrome and Jacob’s Syndrome and Triple X Syndrome. The package also includes an Ultrasound Scan first, checking viability (baby’s heartbeat), gestation and early anatomy development of your baby. We also offer the option of testing the maternal blood for baby’s gender, free of charge.
This scan includes:
• 30-minute appointment
• Maternal Blood sample
• 2D Ultrasound Scan for viability (baby’s heartbeat) and gestation measurements
• 3 complimentary 2D printed images
• Complimentary Gender Testing – optional
• printed Ultrasound report
• results from your blood tests 5 - 7 working days after the lab receives the sample
