Individual Blood Tests Available..
Anti-Müllerian Hormone Blood Test (AMH) £95

AMH tests are used to help make decisions about treating female infertility. Measuring AMH levels can provide information about a variety of reproductive health conditions.
-
Check your ovarian reserve
-
Predict how well you may respond to fertility medicine
-
Find out if you’re getting close to menopause or have already begun menopause
-
Help diagnose and monitor problems with the ovaries that cause high AMH levels such as PCOS and certain types of ovarian cancer

Follicle Stimulating Hormone Blood Test (FSH) £80

This test is recommended for pre-pregnancy or prior planning for pregnancy. The follicle-stimulating hormone FSH is made by your pituitary gland, a small gland located underneath the brain and plays an important role in sexual development and functioning. FSH works closely with the luteinising hormone to control sexual functions. This test measures the level of FSH in your blood. This hormone stimulates the ovaries to release an egg. Too much or too little FSH can cause a variety of problems, including infertility, and menstrual difficulties in women.
These tests are most often used to:
-
Help find the cause of fertility struggles
-
Find out if there is a problem with ovaries
-
Find the reason for irregular or stopped menstrual periods
-
Confirm the start of menopause or perimenopause
Luteinising Hormone Blood Test (LH) £80

Too much or too little LH can cause a variety of problems, including infertility and menstrual difficulties in women. You may need this test if:
-
You’ve been unable to get pregnant after 12 months of trying.
-
Your menstrual cycle is irregular. This will help to get a clear picture of your menstrual cycle, including ovulation date, to aid in conception.
-
Your periods have stopped. The test may be used to find out if you have gone through menopause or are in perimenopause.
This test measures the level of luteinising hormone (LH) in your blood. LH is produced by your pituitary gland, a small gland located beneath the brain. LH plays a crucial role in sexual development and functioning as it helps regulate the menstrual cycle by triggering the release of a mature egg from the ovary. LH levels rapidly increase just before ovulation.
Oestrogen Hormone Blood Test (E2) £80

Recommended for pre-pregnancy or prior planning for pregnancy

What to expect:
-
Evaluate oestrogen hormone levels
-
For women: investigate menstrual problems, fertility issues, and menopause symptoms
Oestrogen hormones play a key role in female reproductive health, including puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. Oestrogens are also important for heart, bone, and brain health in males and females.
You may need oestrogen testing if you
-
Have abnormal menstruation or no menstruation period at all
-
Are having issues getting pregnant
-
Have symptoms of menopause, including hot flashes and/or night sweats
-
Use hormone replacement therapy after menopause
-
Have vaginal bleeding after menopause
In females, testing can be used:
-
To help investigate menstrual problems, including problems conceiving
-
To help monitor hormone replacement therapy and other hormone treatments
Progesterone Hormone Blood Test (PRG) £80

A progesterone test measures the level of progesterone in a sample of your blood. Progesterone is a hormone that’s made mainly by the ovaries, which are two glands in the female reproductive system that contain eggs testing can help:
-
Investigate fertility issues
-
Check to see if fertility treatments are working.
-
Diagnose an ectopic pregnancy
-
Diagnose ovarian cancer or problems with your adrenal glands that may be causing high levels of progesterone.
Each month, the progesterone hormone prepares your uterus for pregnancy. During a normal menstrual cycle, an ovary releases an egg and your progesterone levels begin to rise. Progesterone makes the lining of your uterus grow thicker so that a fertilised egg can implant inside the uterus. If you don’t become pregnant, your progesterone levels will fall. The lining of your uterus will become thinner again. When your uterus starts to get rid of the extra blood and tissue, your menstrual period will begin.

A progesterone test can help show whether low progesterone levels are causing problems getting pregnant or problems during pregnancy. The test may also help diagnose certain problems with the adrenal glands that may cause high levels of progesterone.
You may need a progesterone test if:
-
You are having trouble getting pregnant. A progesterone test can help your Healthcare provider see if your ovaries are releasing eggs normally
-
You are having fertility treatments
-
You are having abnormal bleeding when you’re not pregnant.
Beta hCG Blood Test (bhCG) £85

A β-hCG blood test measures the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your blood. This is a hormone made after a fertilised egg implants in the uterus.
It is helpful to women with fertility problems as it:
-
Confirms Early Pregnancy - It can detect pregnancy about 8–10 days after ovulation or embryo transfer, earlier than most home tests.
-
Checks if the Pregnancy Is Developing Normally - in early pregnancy, β-hCG levels should roughly double every 48–72 hours. The test is usually repeated after 2–3 days to see if levels are rising appropriately. Abnormal patterns may suggest: possible miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, chemical pregnancy.
-
Detects Ectopic Pregnancy EarlyAn ectopic pregnancy (when the embryo implants outside the uterus) often shows Slower rising hCG levels. Early detection can prevent serious complications.
-
Monitors Fertility Treatments - In treatments like IVF, doctors use β-hCG tests to: confirm implantation success, monitor early embryo development, adjust medications if needed.
-
Helps After Recurrent Pregnancy Loss - For women with repeated miscarriages, tracking β-hCG trends gives early insight into whether a pregnancy is progressing normally.
Prolactin Hormone Blood Test (PRO) £80

Recommended for pre-pregnancy or prior planning for pregnancy

A prolactin (PRL) test measures the level of prolactin in the blood. Prolactin is a hormone made by a small gland at the base of the brain. Prolactin causes the breasts to grow and make milk during pregnancy and after birth. Prolactin levels are normally high for pregnant women and new mothers. Levels are normally low for non pregnant women. In women, too much prolactin can also cause menstrual problems and fertility issues.
A prolactin blood test can help
-
Diagnose prolactinoma
-
Find the cause of a woman’s menstrual irregularities – irregular periods, premature menopause
-
Investigate fertility issues and breast tenderness

Testosterone Hormone Blood Test £80

Testosterone is the primary male hormone. While testosterone is a significant male hormone known to stimulate the development of male characteristics, it is also important for females. The majority of testosterone in women is produced in the ovaries, and it can be converted into the primary female sex hormone, oestradiol.

Testosterone in women also impacts libido, bone and muscle health, mood and energy, menstrual cycles, and fertility. Therefore, high or low testosterone levels in the blood could lead to women’s infertility.
.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Blood Test (TSH) £80

The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Blood Test helps to indicate whether your thyroid is overactive (hyperthyroidism) or underactive (hypothyroidism). It does this by detecting TSH, which stimulate the production of two more hormones (T3 and T4) which control your metabolism. This test, often combined with further thyroid hormone testing, can help to diagnose thyroid disorders and monitor general thyroid activity.

Common reasons for this blood test are:
-
To monitor the effect of treatments for hyper- and hypothyroidism
-
To diagnose a thyroid disorder if you’re experiencing associated symptoms
-
To help evaluate the function of your thyroid.
